Trusting Divine Timing: Everything Happens for a Reason

Trusting Divine Timing: Everything Happens for a Reason

Don’t you just cringe when some event happens that tosses us off kilter and in the midst of the turmoil we feel, some well meaning person recites the trite phrase “Everything happens for a reason”. UGH!!!

Personally, I fully admit that I have said and done some downright idiotic stupid things in my life and regretted it. Sometimes right away, sometimes later.
“I wish I hadn’t said/ done that”
“Why did I say/do that?”

I am sure you’ve experienced the same regret feeling. And then my brain sidetracks into playing out repeated scenarios in my head. This over thinking and over analyzing affects sleep, daily activities, and other obligations until I can get a handle on it.
(Hint: I have learned to target the reticular activating system to defuse the repeat button in our brains).

(Excellent article fits here on doing Shadow Work. So important for our own well being and for the good of the collective global consciousness.

The more I learn through life, and the more I embrace the spiritual level wisdom of our soul evolution, the more I can let go of these upsets more quickly. Learn the lessons and move on gracefully. Ok, well, admittedly, not always gracefully. I am a Taurus redhead, you know. I think my soul level spiritual lessons in this life are all about boundaries, self respect, attachments, and maybe just caring too much. I always want to do the right thing to make things better. To take accountability and responsibility for my words and actions, and to trust that others do the same. I want to correct my mistakes. But what if nothing is really a mistake, but a life lesson instead?

I always defer to the metaphysical analogy of how others are, at a soul level, co-creators in our human existence for the purpose of learning our spiritual lessons. You’ll find this concept peppered throughout this website:

This is an excellent video explanation that encompasses so much of what I believe to be Divine Timing and the interconnectedness of our soul journeys. Whether these soul connections are uncomfortable life lessons, spiritual support, or a beautiful union, these signs are worth noting here as I have experienced several of these signs throughout my life.

I just love the writings below to explain Divine Timing and how everything does happen for a reason whether we understand that concept in the moment, or embrace it later on when we grow into our emotional and spiritual maturity. Our lives are a beautiful tapestry of experiences in the journey of human life. The dark (threads) times accentuate the bright (threads) times. In the moment, our lives may look like a bunch of twisted knots, but we can look back to see the tapestry being woven and unfolded in Divine Timing.

Embracing this knowledge means that I can also embrace that I am continuously a work in progress. I can also embrace forgiveness for myself and others.

Soul Helper: An individual who comes into your life for a moment, a lifetime, or anywhere in between, and helps your soul move towards growth, healing, and alignment. (I am thankful for all the soul helpers I have had in my life).

The conscious person uses the world as a mirror to better understand and master themselves.
The unconscious person attacks the mirror because they do not realize it is a mirror.

March 30 2023: At the moment two people may be walking side by side on what seemingly is the same path.
One will find exquisite beauty and excitement, the sense of adventure, exploration and awe, at being able to step onto a totally new life and ascend into the New Earth. There is deep sense of higher calling, inner peace, light, love and following the call. The new unfolding, even if totally new and in a much higher dimension and frequency band. As one with All That Is. A sense of being lifted and guided every step of the way. More than this, is powered by the open heart and love, the inner intuitive knowing and seeing within.
The other, also on the path, which is splitting ahead, is so burdened by the baggage, and worries and woes, and can only see and feel pain and suffering, judgement, separation, and uses words and thoughts like combat weapons. Indeed is so weighed down by it all, and is blind to the incredible new life, the unfolding of such unity, harmony, peace, wonder and awe of the New creation.
So blinded, that he/she cannot even see the split in the road and continues walking the road, oblivious of the fact, that that walking companion has vanished and has left their side a long time ago.
For this is what is happening.
The split between the 3rd and 5th dimension is not only widening, but becoming more and more obvious.
Yet, every soul is always given the opportunity to wake up and to choose to step out of the old path and onto the new.

Reason Season Lifetime

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support,
To aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a
solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

There are people who come in your life sometimes to be there for a season. They weren’t meant to be there always. Sometimes we find ourselves hooked up with people that we think are there for a lifetime, but they were only supposed to be there for a season. There are people who come in your life like boosters for rocket. If you ever watch a rocket go into space, the boosters fall off when it reaches a certain altitude.
Some people are not equipped to handle the altitudes that you’re going to. So don’t be afraid when they fall off. They’re not bad people. They just couldn’t go where you’re going.

I really like these Words of Encouragement:

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there; they serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be; your roommate, neighbor, professor, long-lost friend, lover or even a complete stranger who, when you lock eyes with them, you know that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way. Sometimes things happen to you and at the time they may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower or heart. Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests – whether they are events, illnesses or relationships – life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. Safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless. The people you meet who affect your life, and the successes and downfalls you experience, create who you are; even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart to. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally; not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love, and they are opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them. Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself; for if you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you, either. You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it. ~ Author Unknown

THE FOUR LAWS OF A SHAMAN

The first says:
“The person who comes into our life is the right person”
In other words, no one comes into our lives by chance, all the people around us, who interact with us, are there for a reason, to make us learn and advance in each situation.

The second law says:
“What happens is the only thing that could have happened.”
Nothing, but nothing, absolutely nothing that happens to us in our lives could have been otherwise.
Not even the most insignificant detail.
There is no: “if I had done such a thing, such another would have happened…”.
Nope.
What happened was the only thing that could have happened and it had to have been so for us to learn that lesson and move on.
Each and every one of the situations that happen to us in our lives are perfect, even if our mind and our ego resist and do not want to accept it.

The third says:
“Anytime it starts is the right time.”
Everything starts at the right time, neither before nor after.
When we are ready for something new to start in our lives, that is when it will begin.

And the fourth and last:
“When something ends, it ends.”
Just like that.
If something ended in our lives, it is for our evolution, therefore it is better to leave it, move on and advance already enriched by that experience.
I think it is not by chance that you are reading this, if these words came into our lives today; It’s because we’re prepared to understand that no snowflake ever falls in the wrong place.”

If you still feel like you need to vent your frustrations over events and situations in life, that’s ok. Sometimes you just need to get it out. But it is not ok to stay stuck in the story.
This is a context from one of my GRIT Teammates that so succinctly explains letting it go:

Kristine Sarrett Day of GRIT: # 16 of 28
SA Principle – I Take Ownership of the Outcome…
CONTEXT: “Whine & Dine”
In the United States, it’s a common practice to share a meal with a close friend with the primary objective being to vent.
Cheaper than therapy & generally more enjoyable, you exchange updates on your life stressors, often leaning towards hearty bellyaching.
These can be good for you…
IF done correctly.
Trick is to leave the drama at the table.
All the “woe-is-me”s & “life sucks” should be left on plate next to the napkin.
We have all had crap things happen to us.
It never good to live there.
You ate. You vented. Now pay the tab & leave.
Go live your life.
Jackie Rioux: Kristine Sarrett Yes!! I have often said it is great to vent if needed, as long as there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

DOORS OF OPPORTUNITY
Doors of opportunity are always available, waiting for you to open them. When you make a clear intention for something that you desire, such as a job that pays well and is more inspiring, take steps to make this goal a reality.
Expect synchronicities, follow leads and check into various opportunities. Pay attention to your intuition and gut feelings, decide if these opportunities are truly what you want. Do not settle for anything less. Create situations that will make things happen; choose doors that best fit your needs.
Sometimes what appears to be a wrong door could lead you to something better. Perhaps by taking the “wrong” door, you may meet someone or gain skills that lead you to the door of your highest choice. The key is to not be swayed by fears and false beliefs.
Have courage in yourself and know that in reality, there are no wrong doors. There may be missed opportunities, yet within these lie myriads of learning experiences and infinite opportunities.
Reach beyond your comfort zone and open the doors of opportunity to see what lies beyond.
You may find the perfect mate, career or adventure on the other side. Enjoy life to the fullest, for you indeed are in a time of great transition.

Aligning with Divine Timing!

Do you ever feel like time is racing by and you’ll never get it all done? No matter what your to-do list entails, feeling behind and overwhelmed is a feeling I am all too familiar with.
I look back over my life in raising four kids while working full time, taking on higher education and numerous courses while juggling personal and business responsibilities, and I am not sure how I ever managed all that…

As you may know, I recently completely the Court of Atonement certification. I had a lot of things going on in March with a road trip vacation time, family visiting etc.
I started the course but got behind. Very behind. It is not that the course was overwhelming, I assure it was not at all. But like anything else in life, I dropped my attention there to focus on other things and soon found myself behind.
I was overwhelmed. I was frustrated.

Then I got a bright idea.

I have learned that “time” seems to be going fast for everyone these days. The explanation for that is that the Schumann Resonance (earth heartbeat) energy is rising steadily and when vibration rises, particles move faster, which in turn means that “time” seems to go faster as well.
Taking this into consideration, and trusting the Universe, I aligned myself with Divine Timing. I balanced my energetic blockages interfering with Divine Timing and viola! All the pressure subsided! I caught up day 7 to day 25 of the course within 10 days and managed to finish before a few other students as well.

Now I have been using this idea with all sorts of things and finding that I am managing to accomplish my to do lists much more effectively. YAY ME!!

I have to add here that I received my COA course completion certificate last week. I have many trainings and certifications under my belt, but this one really choked me up with happy tears. It has been a long time coming, and it is truly life changing to have this Court of Atonement technique so easily available to all of humanity.

I always take these new ideas and play with concepts to see what kind of energy shifts I can create with new knowledge and how that can affect me and my clients.

There are many new theories and diagnoses regarding ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyper Activity Disorder). I refuse to get a diagnosis and label for myself. However, having taken psychology courses and learned much about ADHD through holistic education as well, I am sure I have many of the traits of ADHD.

Here I thought it was just my entrepreneurial spirit! Actually, I prefer to think I am intuitive and my spirit guides have a sense of humor as I have earned the nicknames Scrat, Chipmunk on Acid, and Ferret on Crack. Gotta love the industriousness of rodents lol.

The ideas that float in my mind can be so fun and innovative, but taking those ideas to fruition requires discipline and much energetic grounding. I am getting there…Even when my inner Scrat seems to have been flung off his hamster wheel…

Thank God for all my energy balancing and clearing skills so I can clear my energy and get things done!

To add to these new ideas, I recently watched a video about yet another ADHD trait. You know the whole “squirrel” reference? Well, there is a term for this called “time blindness”.
This I know all too well… start one task, get distracted, start another task… By the end of the day, I have several things started but nothing finished.
Multitasking is the art of screwing up several things at once, by the way!

Yet again, I have gleaned more ideas and neutralized time blindness, then aligned with conscious time awareness. I seem to be keeping more focused on tasks now. I have also tried this idea with some clients, so far with great feedback.

Here’s to getting our to – do lists done, all in Divine Timing!!

Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet. Aristotle.

“Patience is power. Patience is not an absence of action; rather, it is “timing.”; it waits for the right time to act, for the right principles and in the right way.” Fulton J. Sheen

In a world of instant gratification, patience is getting harder and harder.
The elegance of waiting without imploding inside is an art.
It means we are mastering surrender, ceding to things we have no control over, and working in tangent with time and space.
It means we are breathing deeper and soothing the emotions that can accompany frustration.
It means we are free.
When we lose our patience, we just lose.
Period.
The end.
All kinds of things fall apart when we succumb to impatience.
… and when I find my patience well is running dry and I’m on the edge, I refer back to trust. Let it rain lemons; I will make lemonade. Debbie Lynn

“The two hardest tests on the spiritual road are the patience to wait for the right moment and the courage not to be disappointed with what we encounter.” Paulo Coelho
