NOTE: I have been approached and asked by several people about teaching “all what I do”. This has prompted me to consider creating a Master type class program, possibly with Reiki 1 and 2 at either end of a six-month course with an introduction to other modalities and techniques in between.
I often share information within my Reiki classes anyway, but a longer course type program would allow a much more in depth understanding and learning skills to create your own energetic toolbox.

Reiki Classes:
Reiki is a Japanese energy technique, where the practitioner gently places their hands in various positions on the head and body with the intention of healing on all levels of being.
It is a whole-body treatment that strives to achieve optimal health and energetic health for its clients through reducing stress and promoting overall healing within the body.
Reiki is a safe effective energy modality that is beneficial to everyone. Anyone can learn Reiki. No experience is necessary to begin your Reiki journey. Reiki is a holistic self-help technique for directing universal life force energy that can be used at any moment, anytime, anywhere for on-the-spot stress release, pain relief, and as a quick energy boost. Reiki energy re-balances the energy field that exists around our bodies. When this energy field is clear of blockages and flows naturally, balanced optimal health is achieved. Reiki healing is a pure energy form and when it is combined with the sincere desire or focused intention of the client, a deep level of healing occurs on four levels (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) and this manifests in their life as harmony and balance.
Reiki is a Gift you Give to Yourself. Where you take it, or where it takes you, is as individual as you are. Class is a combination of history, theory, and hands on experience.
Your Teacher, Jackie Rioux, has been certified to teach Traditional Usui Reiki through three different Master Teacher trainings. She is an Affiliate member of the (William Rand) Reiki Membership Association and Reiki Healing Association. Classes are taught with affiliation to the Reiki Membership Association and their learning materials are provided.
Reiki Classes can be booked through the Ladybug Wellness scheduler for any available date at your convenience. You are welcome to have a friend book their training date for the same date so you can take a class together and have a practice partner. There are a limited number of seats available for in person training. Having the option of booking your preferred date through the scheduler means that sometimes you may have a one-on-one class.

In-person Classes are held at 4233 Quentin Ave Prince George BC. Light refreshments are provided for lunch. (usully veggie tray and meat/ cheese tray). If you are local, in person classes and much more fun and personable, in my opinion.
ONLINE CLASSES: Online classes are held through Zoom and require your full attention during class time. We will have reasonable break times. Manual will be sent through Reiki.org as a read only online version of the manual.

Usui Reiki Level I Class
**No prerequisites for this course.
Level 1, First Degree Class Includes:
Usui Reiki “The Healing Touch” manual
Certificate that entitles you to practice Reiki I and is required to continue to Level II in future
This is taught as a one-day course and at the end of the day the student will be able to give Reiki to self and to others
At this level you will learn:
How to use Reiki as a healing and personal growth system;
Reiki’s history including the story of Mikao Usui (the founder of Reiki);
Gassho, Reiji-ho, and Kenyoku,
The concept of Byosen and Beaming;
The attunement process – how it works and what it means;
Guided through techniques to help you access your intuition;
How to perform complete Reiki sessions on yourself and others;
Explore how Reiki works and begin practicing using this amazing energy with yourself.
Reiki First Degree certification requires at least 5 hours of instruction, plus practice time

Usui Reiki Level II Class:
** Prerequisite Usui Reiki Level I with Jackie Rioux or other Certified Usui Reiki Master Teacher
At this Second Degree level, you will have a Level I refresher plus Level II instruction;
You will be attuned to three Usui Reiki symbols and learn to send distance Reiki. Jackie calls this level “the fun level” as you will learn all the wonderful things you can do with your newfound skills and sending energy;
Reiki Second Degree certification requires at least 8 hours of instruction, attunements, and practice time;
** While supplies last: With your Level Two training, you will receive the Reiki Touch home learning system package from William Rand. Includes cards, manual and DVD.

Usui Reiki Level III Master Class/ ART (Advanced Reiki Training):
**Prerequisite Usui Reiki Level I and II with Jackie Rioux or other Certified Usui Reiki Master Teacher
At this Third Degree advanced level, you will have a Level I and II refresher plus Level III instruction.
Your energy will be amplified as you are attuned to the Usui Reiki Advanced Reiki Training (ART) Master symbol. This is the certification for Practitioner level.
Reiki Third Degree certification requires at least 8 hours of instruction, attunements, and practice time.
Note: It is highly advisable to practice your second II level for at least 6 months to a year before advancing to the third level.

Usui Reiki Level Grand Master/ Teacher:
**Prerequisite Usui Reiki Level I, and II, and III/ ART with Jackie Rioux or other Certified Usui Reiki Master Teacher
At this level, you will have a refresher of previous levels plus Master Teacher instruction. This includes the Usui Reiki Master Teacher manual, plus The Reiki Touch Kit by William Rand if you do not have it already from Level II. As well, you will receive a USB files of teaching materials.
You will be attuned to the Usui Reiki Master/ Teacher symbols and will be certified to teach all levels of Reiki.
Reiki Grand Master/ Teacher certification requires two days, which includes at least 8 hours of instruction, attunements and practice time, as well as participating in teaching a full day Reiki Level I class.
Note: It is highly advisable to practice your third III/ART level for at least a year or more before advancing to this most honorable Master Teacher level.

Reiki: (Pronounced ray-kee) Rei = God/Universal; Ki = Life force energy
Reiki is a 2,500 year old healing tradition that was rediscovered in the late 19th century by Dr. Usui in Japan. The syllable “Rei” means God/ universal; and “Ki” describes the vital life force which flows through all living things. Reiki is a holistic healing modality that provides relaxation and stress reduction and brings about healing and transformation on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level of your being.
You do not have to believe in Reiki for it to work, but you do have to take the first step and treat yourself to this unique experience. Reiki is a gentle, non-intrusive touch therapy that brings wholeness to the recipient & the giver. Reiki is given by placing hands on, or just above, the body. Reiki works toward restoring and vitalizing the natural energy balance, and also works with humans, animals & plants.

Choosing your Reiki Teacher:
A reputable Reiki teacher will never obligate you to work with any particular teacher or to have the same teacher for advanced level training. Always go with whom you feel most comfortable.
Here are some ideas of questions you can ask a Reiki teacher to see if they are the right teacher for you:
How long have you been working with Reiki?
What training have you had?
How often do you teach?
How do you personally use Reiki?
What is your lineage?
What qualifications are required to take Reiki Training?
What do you cover in your classes?
How many hours of class time is included?
How much time is instructional, and how much is hands on practice?
What are the specific things I will be able to do after taking the training?
What are your fees, and will I get a certificate and a manual?
Can I take notes?
How many symbols will I learn?
Will you openly support me in being a successful Reiki practitioner or Master?
Do you have a positive respectful attitude toward other Reiki practitioners and Masters regardless of lineage or affiliation?
Be aware of how you feel about their answers and if they are responding in a loving manner that is supportive and empowering. Listen to your heart and you will be guided to the right teacher or practitioner.

I prefer to allow my students to book classes through the convenient online scheduler. You are welcome to choose an available date that works best for you. With smaller classes, I feel I can give more one-on-one attention to my students so they can be receptive to effective learning and confident in using the skills they acquire throughout the day.
As a Reiki Master Teacher, Reiki energy is infused through absolutely everything I do. Reiki has heightened my intuition and cleansed my life.
As your Reiki Master Teacher, I encourage taking manual notes as needed and taking an active part in ensuring you feel confident in your new role. I believe that a great leader guides and creates new leaders rather than expecting followers.
I feel that I do have a respectful attitude towards other teachers and practitioners. I do not feel there is competition in energy healing circles as we all have unique gifts to bring to the world.
I do, however, take issue with teachers and practitioners with poor business ethics and misrepresentation of themselves that can detrimentally affect students and the integrity of Reiki.
